Welcome! You are confirmed for the Preservation of Wild Spring Edibles class, on May 13th, 2017.
Classes will run 9 am until approximately 1-1:30 pm. (depending on questions, it might run a little longer than that) The course will begin in our Main Classroom at 9 am with instructor Suchil Coffman.
WHAT TO BRING
-Notebook/pen for taking notes
-Apron to cover clothing while you are working, if you want.
-Camera if you would like to document processes and equipment used in food processes.
-Water bottle and a snack (optional)
DIRECTIONS: This will be held at our North San Antonio campus. It is approximately 7.5 miles north of the 1604 intersection off Hwy 281 N. We are including directions for you to print out with the address and how exactly to find us. Do NOT use GPS or ANY online mapping tool. It will send you in the opposite direction, far far away. Just print out the directions that are given in the following link. https://thehumanpath.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/2016-DIRECTIONS.pdf
You will enter to Gate #4.
PARKING: Once you enter Gate #4, you will see several work structures — an RV and several brightly painted small buildings on the right, and then two larger classroom buildings on the left. Pass all of this and follow the curve in the road that will lead you to a parking area where there will be an old 1960s Ford pickup truck and other student cars parked. Staff members will meet you around the parking area to check you in. Please allow enough time to park and get checking in before the start of class at 9 am.
Classroom Location: inside the Main Classroom building.
Cancellation Policy: Please take a moment to review the school’s cancellation policy. https://thehumanpath.net/about/payment-policies/
Weather: The school will not cancel classes due to weather conditions unless there is severe flooding or other extreme events. This workshop will go on, rain or shine.
