The Provider Program: 2017 – 2018

The Provider is the path of understanding food and nourishment in our communities, or on a team. The skills that are taught in this path include regenerative agriculture, many methods of both harvesting and preserving animal and plant foods, a practical understanding of nutrition and much more.

As the provider on a volunteer team, for instance, you would ensure the team’s nutrition plan is feasible and help with food planning and preparation either for the group or for individuals.

Team members teach about, create and maintain sustainable food (and medicine) gardens (polyculture and forest gardening) in medically under-served areas.
