** This is the second day of Winter Emergency First Aid & Disaster Training Week, and can be taken by itself.

Basic Survival & Communication Skills. 

Knowledge of essential survival skills in a disaster setting are imperative for setting up a safe environment to work in. This one-day class will include classes on emergency knots and rope work, creating emergency basic shelters for inclement weather, heat sources and the best ones to create with what you have, post-disaster radio and communication skills, light and power during a crisis, and food preparedness for emergencies

Dates: February 22, 2018.

Tuition: Early Bird Tuition is available until January 15, 2018 for $95. Regular Tuition is $125.

Dates: This is a 4 week online course beginning on January 30th, 2023.

All course materials can be downloaded for personal future reference and use.

*Shipping of the poster is included for free with course tuition within the US. A digital copy will be provided to students outside of the US.

The online classroom access will close 4 weeks after the last week of class. Access will close on March 31st, 2023.

Registration closes on February 13th, 2023.

Course Hours: 16 contact hours for Physiology and Plant Science as well as Austere Medicine.
